In other news, I'm a poet and I bet you don't care =]

Maybe if you guys could read this it would make me feel better about my writing. I want opinions from people that I don't know very well, people I've just started talking to or people I've never spoken to.

And be 100% honest, tell me what you really think. Criticism helps me improve.

Here we go:

Intuitive, yet lost, and you are a beautiful contradiction. You weave beauty into the faults of others, trying your best to mold the pieces into something worth keeping, keep to yourself or wait in the wings for the spotlight to dim down.

Safe in the corners of shadows, you hide with the secrets of the world, balance the weight of others’ sorrow on your shoulders until bones snap and hiss with the strain and yet you smile and keep them balanced, pushing your own whispering doubts to the farthest corners of your mind.

Maybe you are happier this way, with the uncertainty of others keeping your own self-doubt at bay, keeping it to where you don’t have to think of it. Be the crying shoulder, but somehow, you still feel so empty. Offer words of comfort and yet, you don’t feel any better for it.

Maybe you are polluting this world with kindness, clogging up the air with understanding. Construct a haven out of letters and if loving someone was easy, no one would bother. At least, that’s something you’ve learned, that no matter how hard you try, no one will always be happy, that’s nothing you can change.

Keep an argument up with your silence, and paint the inside of your mind with words that no one can see. Lose your sense of reality in the only way you know how: feel the pain of the world and lost track of your own. Get so caught up in helping others that you forget how to help yourself. You are, you are important in more ways that you will ever be able to understand. This is, this is a last-ditch effort to lend my helping hand.

Remember. be honest. I can take it.
