if there isn't a topic on this, i think there should be…
it is common knowledge that most people who are brilliant, especially in artistic ways, also suffer from mental or mood disorders of one sort or another, we don't need to turn this into something about robin williams, even though he is an example, but has anyone else put any thought into this? it's often what makes a great performance - like when a musician is completely lost in the song (crazy people just seem to do it really well), but i digress, the original video I wanted to post under this thread is comedy, and you probably know Louis CK, but i think it is evident from this clip that he understands… the first part about kids and phones is alright, but then when he starts talking about feeling alone, etc… anyway, that was a long description of what i'd hope to see in this thread, examples of artistic brilliance in performances, music, comedy, whatever
and as an example of what i'm talking about on the musical side of things (we all know she's crazy):

It's me, Dan. Formally known as phawnatical. It's been awhile. I've been busy. Full-time dad of a boy almost turning 3 and a girl almost 1. Hopefully some of y'all are still around and kicking. I promise to try to check in more often. What have you been up to?
Lately, I do a lot of long walks, go to parks, cloth diaper using Applecheeks, lose my marbles at least once a day, swimming, etc..

What are you bummed about, MOC?

Been listening to this a lot while MOC was down -- they toured with Joan of Arc apparently, and they've got that super midwest mathy nostalgic sound.
