Makes me feel incredibly old. And i'm only 22.
The majority of kids here are like 14 year old scene fags and they're smoking like fucking chimneys, and it's really pissing me off. I don't know who i'm more mad at: these fuck-ass kids or their parents.

Maybe I should get a beer.

On a side note: today it's been ten years exactly since my mom died (of lung cancer, which is maybe why all these kids smoking is making me mad).

Wait until you're 30 and a 22 year old is posting about feeling incredibly old.

My town is one of the gateways to America for Mexican immigrants, myself included. People care less about local rock bands and more about "bandas." The local indie music scene (in which I pile together everything not banda-related) is suffering. Venues are going out of business and the "local" in local shows entails a half hour drive. Boo. =(

On the real, you'd all fit right in with the crowd that runs shows out here. Ages range from 19 to 28 judging by people I've stopped to meet. I feel a bit young.

i would say around my part of the world at least half of the good shows are 21 and up. all of the bigger ones, like the one i'll be going to in a couple weeks (rxbandits/portugal the man) is at an all ages venue but on a tuesday. i'm hoping for not too many kids..plus, i'm just hoping that all of the 15 years olds don't know who the rx bandits are so i can act like an idiot in the front row.

i remember being 16 and getting so pissed off when shows i wanted to go to were 18/21 up. i totally understand it now.
